Thanks, dear Lara, now I become red like my costume :-D The costume was the official starter tricot of the German team for the participation in the "Olympic-Cycling-Games" Paris-Brest-Paris in 2007. Because of the cold on the star ride, I dressed the winter version of the tricot!
No, dear Olga, it was no easy walk. It was a sporty challenge. But exactly this it should be! We rode at night because it was a 24-hour ride. We were too slow to ride 420 kms during one day without night! :-)))
I have not used the couch in the star ride to Wartburg. The star ride is a team ride. On this occasion, it depends not on the success of the singles, but on the success of the team. The whole team must reach the destination in the given time. In the team it is useful to give mutually slipstream. This would not have been possible with the couch.
Yes, dear Olga, I admire Corinna. I met Corinna for the first time in London. She took part in the 1.400 kms cycling-tour London-Edingburgh-London and finished successfully!
The street was closed. But we were too sluggish to cycle the detour. Thus we have used the street in spite of roadblock. How you see, dear Olga, the street is well usable for cyclists! :-D
